Hi, everyone! Just a quick update to let everyone know that I'm currently in the middle of changing servers, some stuff might be unavailable for a little bit, as I start moving stuff from the old site to the new site. Things like the archive will be down the longest, as it is run by a script, so I have to reinstall it and figure out how to move the old database files (since I REALLY don't want to have to enter all those links in manually...) and get them to function properly.

So if random stuff comes up as "unavailable," that just means it hasn't been uploaded yet. I didn't realize how massive this site was until now. I easily have several thousand files to sort through. Hopefully I can get all of my files up in a fairly quick manner though.

Damn, that took a lot out of me, LOL.

So I graduated from UCSD, and I thought, now that I won't be wasting my life away doing pointless lab assignments, writing dreadfully long papers about books I may or not have actually read, and going to class (most of the time, anyway) I figured I'd have more time to do things like... oh, I dunno, UPDATE MY DAMN SITE MAYBE?

Oh how wrong I was. The real world, the one that sucks the life out of you 5 days a week, sometimes 6, sometimes 7, is not that kind. Man, I used to have it easy compared to this.

But that's life, and I have to make due. So don't think I have forgotten about this site, because I haven't. It's very hard sometimes, to run so many different things. The gnome site, the fanlist, the archive, crikey, the main site, and so forth. I wish I could update them all at once, and frequently, but I have to pick and choose my updates. Everything in it's own time, I guess.

And this week, it was David and the fanlist's turns. So kids, head on over to:

And speaking of fic, I am well aware that goats have eaten quite a bit around here. Don't worry, it's totally on my to-do list. Really!

First things first. I'm going to issue a warning. Lately I've had a couple obnoxious people (JATE Fans) posting obnoxious things in my comment box. It's stupid, it's childish, and it's fuckin retarded. But I guess that is to be expected, considering we are dealing here with a breed of people who have the IQ of toast. I have access to your IP address. If you fuck with my site, I will ban your ass from making further comments, and I will post your addy publicly. Thank you and good day.

Just a few updates, to keep the home fires burnin.' I think I'm getting better at this updating thing. My last one was only 2 weeks ago (and not like, 2 years ago, like before). I'd like to think we are a kindler, gentler hi-sailor now.

Well, ok, maybe not. But we are more frequently updated now. And that's all that matters anyway!

Hooray for updates

First update of the new year!

It probably has something to do with the fact that I am steadfastly procrastinating on getting my study on for a midterm I have tomorrow. But it's all good.

To answer some questions. Yes WHEREISDAVID.ORG is still a go. We hit a bit of a snag over the holidays, but it's all sorted out, and the tour is still a go. Updates are in the works, so watch that space.

Brace yourselves, this site done exploded!

Firstly, as you can see, hi-sailor went and got her hair and her nails did. And now she's looking as fabulous as ever.

In less superficial news, in conjuction with salemsoapdish, and pier-29, CRIKEY has been launched! (Ok yes, it launched in October, but I never announced it here. And now I have. So there you go.) Brings a tear to me eye. After over a year, the dream has been realized.

I've decided to keep some of my fics on hold, because after such a long period of inactivity, my interest in them has sort of waned (not to mention my interest in the show as well, but I digress). Nonetheless, because the current story has (had?) so much potential, I've gone an started a new one. But I'll try not to let this one fall to the wayside (like everything else I do eventually does.. hah.)

And a final shoutout to my pet project with Nicole of salemsoapdish and our favorite little gnome: WHEREISDAVID.ORG <---- For all your gnome needs. He's doing a rockin tour of the globe right now. Stay tuned and see if he makes a visit near you!

OMG IT'S AN UPDATE!

Well, sort of ;)

I'm still in the process of finshing several projects and updates, but I've finally completed one of them: a fanlisting.
